E-wax, or emulsifying wax, is a white, waxy solid that’s used to make lotions, creams, and emulsions by binding oil and water together. It’s made by treating a vegetable or petroleum-based wax with a detergent, like sodium dodecyl sulfate or polysorbates. 

E-wax is a common cosmetic emulsifier that’s easy to use and stable, even for beginner.

Usage rate; 1-5% of Total oil phase
